or the required deposit if applicable, has been successfully received and you have received confirmation from us.

Our courses are scheduled to begin on set dates and run in line with the academic year or the timetable shown
on the relevant course page. Please check all course details carefully before booking.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Payment is taken through our website checkout. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time, but any
changes will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed.

Where qualification and non-qualification options are offered, the option selected at checkout will determine
the price and what is included in your booking.

5. Account Registration and Portal Access

When you place an order, the email address used at checkout may be used to create or link your online account
and portal access.

You are responsible for ensuring that your account details are accurate and kept up to date. You are also
responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You can update your account details, including your email address, by logging into your account. If you need

6. Course Access, Learning Materials and Recordings

Depending on the course or workshop booked, your online account or learner area may include access to course
information, supporting documents, videos, links, recordings and other learning materials.

Any class recordings or learning materials made available to you are for your personal learning use only and
must not be copied, shared, uploaded, sold or distributed without our written permission.

7. Live Online Classes

Our courses and workshops are delivered online through live video sessions. It is your responsibility to ensure
that you have a suitable device, internet connection and access to the relevant platform needed to attend.

We are not responsible for failure to attend caused by your own device, internet, software or access issues.

8. Learner Responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide accurate information when booking;
• attend sessions respectfully and behave appropriately towards tutors and other learners;
• not share your account access with anyone else;
• not record, copy or distribute classes unless expressly authorised by us;
• not use our courses, portal or materials for commercial reuse without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove access where behaviour is abusive, disruptive, unlawful or in breach
of these Terms and Conditions.

9. Qualification and Non-Qualification Options

Some courses may be offered with different booking options, including qualification and non-qualification routes.
It is your responsibility to select the correct option before completing your booking.

Where exam fees or assessments are included, this will be stated on the relevant course page or at checkout.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

If you book a course or workshop online, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking under
UK consumer law, provided the course or workshop has not started.

If you cancel within 14 days of booking and the course or workshop has not started, you will normally receive
a full refund.

Once the 14-day cancellation period has passed, fees are non-refundable, even if the course or workshop start
date is still in the future.

Once a course or workshop has started, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

If you are unable to attend after booking, we may, at our discretion, allow you to transfer to a future course
or workshop date. Any such transfer is not guaranteed.

If we cancel a course or workshop and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you will be entitled to a full refund
of any fees paid for the cancelled booking.

11. Missed Sessions

If you miss a live class, workshop or session for any reason, no refund will be due for that missed session.

Where recordings are made available, these may be provided to support recap and continued learning, but access
to recordings is not guaranteed for every course or every session unless stated otherwise.

12. Changes to Courses or Workshops

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, tutors, session times, delivery platforms
or schedules where necessary.

Where a significant change is required, we will aim to notify affected learners as soon as reasonably possible.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and all course materials, including text, graphics, branding, videos, downloads,
recordings and learning resources, remain the property of BSL Sign Unite or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, share or commercially exploit any part of our website or
course materials without our prior written consent.

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, courses,
